Hmm, intriguing. I've been dis satisfied with my two G7's. Free shipping too. hmmmm New 3 wood or new mouse?
Whoa that's a scary shape. Mind yiu, a scary shape that would work. Thankfully god they've gone back to the cradle design, I think swappable batteries as seen in the G7 would piss me off, although it's obviously better than swapping normal batteries. And having the two side buttons back would be nice. Dunno how well that application switching wheel on the side works, though.
Interesting, but I'm fine with my MX1000, and if I got a new(er) mouse, it'd be the carbon-fiber (looking) black G7. The second scroll wheel on the side is a tad much. Buttons there i can understand, but a wheel? That leaves lefties out of the picture totally, unless they made a left-handed version of this mouse.
Homer, only one of the 'good' Logitech mice I can think of has a left handed version, the MX610.
Aristotle13New 3 wood or new mouse?
New 3 wood, definately. Unless that mouse can improve your long game & handicap. ;)
Any indication on the battery life of the Revolution? I heard that the G7 suffered from horribly short battery life, which is one of the reasons when I bought a new mouse last week, I opted not to get the G7. The Revolution looks pretty nice though.
I went old school and grabbed a (corded) Logitech Mx518. No more "oops, I forgot to charge my mouse" moments for me. Next thing you know I'll be using floppy disks again too...
LOL, I've got a huge gap from my driver to my 3 iron, but I build my own clubs so I'm going to check out a few components tomorrow morning. I'm a 13 hdcp trying to trim a few strokes and someday go single digit, I know it'll take more than a 3wood.
Anyhow, I'm wishing I had picked up the g5 now myself. I use corded opticals on my test boxes in my lab, cord never really bother me much. I might go back to corded.

I wasn't sure if I'd like going back to a corded mouse, but I really don't notice it at all. My old Logitech Cordless Click! Plus still works fine should I ever change my mind though.
13 handicap isn't too bad at all. I'm horrible at golf. I have a wicked slice that I just can't control. I need to get back out on the links and shake the rust off, it's been years...
My god, it does look like a Golf club.
I just bought an MX1000, so I won't be in any rush to get one. I actually don't like the look at all to be honest.
Looking at the design again, it has the same body style as the MX400 and MX610, but with a bigger thumb-flare thing. Just thought I'd randomly point that out.
Looking on the Logitech website, they've also made a VX Revolution, which is more like the MX1000 http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/details/US/EN,CRID=2135,CONTENTID=12140#Specifications
But AA battery. ;r That's specified for a notebook.
Still too small, and ugly for me, that is. I'm very happy with my MX1000.
