The problem I'm having is the clock for my computer, the one that sits in the bottom right hand system tray, every once in a while loses time. It's always the same, 3 hours it loses and it does it whenever, I'm not sure as my task bar's on auto-hide, just once in a while when I look at the clock it's 3 hours behind and I have to reset it. Has anyone seen this before?

Hmm, weird. Turn off Auto-Hide, for one thing, as it will make it hard to see if there's anything wrong. Is it a problem with something like Day Light Savings Time, or different time zones?

Micro$oftCAUSE This last symptom listed in this article can occur for either of the following reasons: • Advanced Power Management (APM) settings are enabled in the BIOS. • You configure your computer to use third-party anti-virus, system utility, and screen saver programs.

I love how they always blame thier OS problems on third party programs.

Could also be the CMOS battery starting to go.
