Ok, so two days ago my computer was working fine.

Today, I try to run my game (Lineage 2) and after about 5 minutes the game just stops. Not lag, not computer slowdown, just straight "everything stops" and I can't move the mouse or type and all the stuff stops moving. Ctrl+Alt+Del doesn't work, windows key doesn't work. So I force restart, and go back into the game (thinking it's just a bug) and like 2 mins later it happens again. Thinking it's just a bug again I try to run the game and before I can even log in it froze. Then that happened again.

Now I would think it might be the game (actually I wouldn't but it's a possibility) but later I was watching anime and WMP just stops. Same thing happened.

What could be the reason for my computer to be working fine one day, and two days later the thing just freezes for no reason? Could it be a hardware problem? Like the power source or something? I dunno...

Please give me whatever help you can, it really sucks not being able to use my computer for anything other than internet.

Thanks in advance!

When it happens, I can't do anything more on the computer. It's frozen. No mouse, no commands, no keyboard. Only can be turned off, and only be holding down the power button lol...

And I checked anyway and I couldn't really understand it, nothing seemed very computer-killing.

Hmmmmm....

Well my first thoughts are that you video card might be overheating, but it that were the case, you would see artifacts on your screen before everything locks up.

It's not power, because if it were, your PC would restart and not freeze.

Running a virus scan might be in order.

Might I also ask, have you made any recent upgrages?

Also what drivers are you using and what version are they? What version of windows do you have, and when your PC crashes does it bleep at all?
