Hm. So yeah, I wasn't sure where to post this, so I imagined that the general discussion forum would be good enough.. But anyways, my speakers are a good ... seven-eight years old, which basically means that they're crap, and seeing as its almost Christmas, why not go looking out on the market for something that's actually good? So what I'm asking is, does anyone here have any recommendations for a good 2.1 speaker system, preferably ( by perferably, I mean it has to have it ) with a subwoofer? I looked at Sicuro 2.1's, but I heard that they don't do much for my type of music (hardcore/metalcore). I would use them a bit for gaming, but not as much as I listen to music, so gaming isn't a priority.

Do you mean Siroco? I have 5.1 Siroco, they extremely good for music. All you need is a good equaliser then your on your way to audio heaven.

Ahh, yea Siroco, that's what I meant. But I'm not sure how many channels that my sound card is, so I don't know if it has enough to run a 5.1. Is there any way to check? =X

Well tell me what it is :) If you don't know how click Start then run. The type: dxdiag.exe Then click on "Sound 1" and tell me what it says.

I got Creative inspire 6.1. Sounds awkward having an even figure speaker system. Most people have 5.1 or 7.1

Um, im not familiar with nVidia cards. Run that name through Google and check the specs to see how many channels it supports. And I won't be replying for another few hours to help you because i'm going to bed :cya:
