i plugged my Readon X800 into my 32" lcd hdtv and none of the resolutions look good. any help?
i have no idea where to start with this so ill just post this for now and hope someone can help me.
yes the card may be older, but you are talking about running tv through it. Tv's only cast at 30fps. The x800 should be able to do pretty well with it.
It does highly depend on driver support though.
Desktop will probably look like crap , throw open a game or video and see how it looks (had that problem on every TV I've tried).
Is it a resolution of 1680 1050? I had to manually set a custom resolution on an X600 to get a decent display, within the ATI drivers.
If it's a 32" LCD it'll probably look best at 1366x768, although your graphics card may not be able to do that exactly.
okay now im having a new problem unfortuantly and instead of opening a new thread.. why not here.
my brother came by and took the dvi to hdmi cable i was using and gave me a dvi to dvi. i plugged in my computer.. and now nothing comes up on my tv. again i have no idea whats going on.
Is the display set to digital input ?

The tv owner Manuel will help there. I tought the only way to hook a pc to a tv was hdmi tvs allow DVI? Im still useing a tv that takes HDMI Component cables lol... Make sure your tv Takes DVI like i said i never heard of a PC connecting to a tv via DVI only HDMI.
