on some certain games I have been getting some lagging, and crashing+restart. They are mostly random, they come alot with EVE Online, and I dont get a chance to even log in on SilkRoad. Other games might be just laggy or slow(then goes to normal) why is this? I am verynoobish when it comes to performance..I have 1gb memory, and im thinking there could be memory leaks(well if its possible to have a memory leak just there. OR maybe the sticks have worn out?

Yes this is still my older, pre-buit rig.

Sounds like it could be a driver problem. Have you updated your video drivers lately?

It would also be sound advice to run a virus scan.

Have you defragmented your drive lately? You may want to see if that would help. It sounds like it's paging for the files more frequently then it used to.

well it shouldnt have been the graphics card since ive always used this same one to play the same games. And i did have the latest drivers at that point(march 07) but a few days after the post new ones came out and they seem to have eliminated the problems :) thanks alot.

Could be overheating or PSU problems
