Uhm... Not quite sure what you problem your talking about... ??? Might it be asking you to login, or create a new user? ???

If so, then Firefox could have crashed while she was using it, and left a "lock" file around. This is the Mozilla/Firefox Knowledgebase article. It may help.

To make it more clear, you have a "*.lock" file buried in your Firefox profile folder. This lock file is used to prevent multiple users from running Firefox, which could cause profile corruption. Unfortunately, a crash can make it a headache.

You will need to go into the profile folder.

C:\Documents & Settings\[profile]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\

The folder will probably be hidden, so you will have to enable Hidden File viewing, in the Folder Options dialog box. Tools -> Folder Options -> View -> Then put a check next to it, in the scroll box.

Close Firefox, and click on the Search feature in the file manager (in the Firefox folder). Do a search for "*.lock". Delete any files you find, and try running Firefox.
