I'm lookin for some help in deciding what monitor I want to get for my new system I'm building. I know I want to get a 19" flat screen CRT somewhere in the $200-300 price range. LCDs don't really interest me. But I want to make sure that I get a good quality one that is real good for gaming. Nice pictures and colors at 1280x1024 and 1600x1200 since that's what I usually run at. At both those settings I want over 75 Hz so I don't get headaches. I also want the monitor to be able to be set at 1920x1440. Any input from anyone willing to help me out by letting me know what you use and like or which ones to stay clear from will be very helpful. There's a couple monitors I have in mind right now, so if any of you heard anything good or bad about them, let me know. The ones I'm looking at are Viewsonic's G90FB2, NEC FP912SB-BK, and Samsung's SyncMaster 957MB. Thanks The J-Man
Good idea going witn the crt's:D I have a 17inch Envision. I am not sure which type of mointer you listed is the best.
look up "sgi monitor" or "sun monitor" and be sure to look at vga compatible ones. (they're normally sony trinitrons so you won't have the problem)
