is there actually any way to get rid of them? i know theyre manufacturing defects, but are there any methods at all to help? my warranty dosent cover ti and its realy getting on my tits having this bright red dot in the middle of the screen.

nothing that can be doen to fix it, computer electronincs are really meant to be fixed, its cheaper to replace.

nope you are screwed, i don''t think that it is going to be fixed easily... it will cost you some money. Go to your local hardware stire and ask them what it will cost to let it be repaired. You probably have to consider to buy a new monitor though.

I'd look into the 120lb CRT moniters for quality:D I have never had a problem with them. I have herd of dead pixel zones on LCD's there is very little you can do except replace it for several $100

yes. if its got dead pixels the best you can do is to replace it or just exchange it for another one

k, thanks for the advide guys. id heard so many rumors and that about fixing them, but i wanted to make sure before i buy again. its just that its this big read pixel in the middle of the screen! :mad: and i need a flat screen to fit in my tiny room! Thanks again!
