Col. Homer Gonersoni noticed.. i have one too :P mx440...
Yeah my good comp has a crappy video card (mx 440 agp 8x w/64mb ram) and my old computer has a better card (although it is a pci card) its a 5200 fx pci w/128mb ram
i have the 128 mb version of the mx440
aiight, heres how its goin down, i customized a gaming comp to be $1016, it has: 450 WATT power supply 12" COLD CATHODE BLUE NEON LIGHT SOUND ACTIVED AMD Athlon 64 FX 53 & mobo that works w/ it (939 pin) (get far cry free) 1024 mb ram 160 gb hard drive nVidia GeForce FX 5700 256MB 8x AGP w/ TVO, & DVI (get c&c generals free) SONY 16X DVD-ROM SONY CDRW 52X32X52 EIDE Creative Labs SB LIVE VALUE 5.1 stock thermal display INTERNAL 6in1 Flash Media Reader/Writer AMD ATHLON64 FX CERTIFIED CPU FAN & HEATSINK + 3 EXTRA CASE FANS 600WATT PMPO SUBWOOFER STEREO SPEAKERS XP home rush delivery, ready to ship in 5 days
now, should i get the STANDARD WARRANTY PLUS ONE-YEAR ONSITE SERVICE and keep the price at $1016? or get the STANDARD WARRANTY: 3-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY PLUS LIFE-TIME TECHNICAL SUPPORT and make it an even $1000? i told my dad that it'll be under $1000 so i think i should drop to the lower
what do you peeps think bout this comp?
i would buy a better vid card and less processor, then get a CDRW+DVDR instead of two drives, unless you do alot of burning.
the only better video card they have is $100 more, and i'm stickin to nVidia and this is the only CPU that you can choose from with this comp... and i do a lot of burning
