Hey, I was just wondering if the asus P5K supports SLI? I know it supports crossfire (says on the box) but nothing about SLI. Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Also, is the 9800GTX+ better than the 8800GTS? And how much faster is it?

Not sure about the motherboard, but the 9800GTX is definitely faster than the 8800GTS.

Nope. CF only.

No.

That's why the marketing materials say that it supports Crossfire, and not SLI.

Its not that much faster. The 9800GTX is just a G92 8800GTS thats clocked higher, and the GTX+ is just a die shrink (smaller core size) of that. They are basically the same cards, just different clock speeds.

If your considering one, i would get a Radeon 4850 instead as it will be faster than either of them, and cheaper.

Typical rule of thumb, If it has an intel chipset: it'll be crossfire ( there are exceptions out there though )
