I look everywhere night and day for my dream laptop and I can never find it. Heres all I want, read the list and tell me if it exists and under 1500 dollars:

1-2gb RAM At least 80gig harddrive 256 Video card Monitor (at least 13 inch) with built in webcam

Well, Dell's Inspiron E1705 fits under your price range, with: 17" Widescreen 1 GB Ram 100 GB hard drive (the 80 runs faster, but cost $78 more) 256MB NVIDIA® GeForce™ Go 7900 GS TOTAL: $1497.60 without tax or shipping. The thing is, no webcam. You can buy a Logitech notebook webcam off newegg.com for $31.99 and up. I'm not sure how many laptops have a built in one anymore these days. The iBook has a webcam in it, but only has a 64mb video card.

$1500 for 1 - 2GB of RAM, 80GB+ HDD, 256MB Video Card and built in webcam?

Good luck.

That laptop certainly is a dream.

Your point is? Dell makes some damn good laptops. Suggest a different brand that'll get close to his specs for under $1500

Apple MacBook Pro

2.0GHz/2.16GHz Intel Core Duo 512MB/1GB (up to 2 GB) DDR SDRAM 80GB/100GB Serial ATA HD (up to 120GB) 128/256MB GDDR Radeon X1600 DVD+RW/CD+RW drive 15.4" Glossy/matte display Sexeh metal body Built in iSight camera. (Look on the top of the screen half of the computer. See where the latches are? Look between them, and you'll see a little black square. Smile, that's your HD camera.) Backlit keyboard

Can run both Windows XP and Mac OS X on the same computer (using different partitions of the hard drive). All software (including games) works perfectly well on the XP partition. XP does not come with the computer. What you do is download Apple's Boot Camp Beta, then reboot your computer and set up a new partition on which you install XP. Then, whenever you turn on your computer, you can select which OS you want to use. step2_beautyshot_mb15_060110.jpg84929030_2ed2ed1b31.jpgapple124.jpg $1,999/$2,499. For college students: $1,799/$2,299

Oh, almost forgot...

Best Tech Support group this side of Alienware. Not that you'll ever need it, because these things simply never break. I've had my PowerBook G4 for a year now, and it has never even had so much as one adware program on it. And that's without any special software.
