Hey Guys, Downloaded new drivers yesterday, and thought I might actually bother installing them properly this time around. (I update every few weeks) I was looking into downloading driver cleaner, but its a 'paid' solution.

Is there a free version of it, or should I just continue to download the 'paid' version?

Have a look at Driver Sweeper. That's what I use and it's free.

I still use this old free version of Driver Cleaner Pro and it works great. One of the best things about it is it's Cab Cleaner feature, which is optional but recommended. Windows operating systems can get sluggish when the driver cab builds up clutter. I recently had my first successful XP repair and I feel it was largely due to using Driver Cleaner Pro to clean up the driver cab and Perfect Disk to run a system file boot time defrag. A while ago I sped up my reboot times from well over 2 min to about 1 min just by using Driver Cleaner Pro.

Driver cleaner pro has been removed due to there being a version you have to pay for now. I would suggest you go for driver sweeper as someone already suggested. It works great.

scroll down on the site before you post, jackass.

Update: This software was removed at the request of the publisher. A newer version of their software is still available yet shareware, to be found at the author's website. As an alternative we'd like to recommend you Driver Sweeper (completely free), please click here.
