Recently I was forced to update my video drivers in order to play BF2. However, this seems to have screwed up the graphics on most of the other games I have installed. For example, I get the Matrix - effect for Battlefield 1942, flickering models in Alien vs. Predator 2, etc. I tried installing the older driver I had before, but I am still having the same problem. Which drivers did u install, the 71.89 ???? Most likely yes, and if so then you need to restart your PC, if not that is the problem but i bet you have... I am not exactly sure what the problem could be, if the game is running well in BF2 but not in less stressful games then something is wrong. Before you get the old video drivers back, you may need to delete the 71.89 ones, they will be wherever you installed the driver files. Default is C:/Nvidia... so delete the folder that says 71.89. I have never done this before so i really do not know if it works but it seems as though if you want to get the old drivers you would have to delete the others first. Hope this helps man, BF2 is pretty sweet but not worth disabling other games :(

hmmm....do you know which one you had before BF2?What i would do is get rid of 56.64 and 61.76... I have 71.84 and 77.30 on mine as well and i have a Geforce. I only had a 71.84 but then i did the BF2 update driver thing and i got the 77.30 too. I have both and everything is working fine right now. See if that helps and if it does not then you can always bring back the 2 old drivers from the recycle bin.

Still getting messed up models in at least AvP2, models flicker and are half transparent. Don't know if it's just the game or not, all I know is that a few months ago when I last played it I never had this problem...
