I purchased an Ipod about a year ago, and i also purchased a Portable DVD player for my DVD's. Sence i have an Ipod Video, it seem pointless to take both, my Ipod and a portable DVD player on a plane, or in the car. Is there any type of free software, that i can download that will allow me to copy DVD's to my Ipod? Thanks.

Ripping copyprotected DVD's is often a big no-no on GF. I will advise you however that a) it can be done and b) that google is your friend.

F*ing forum database. It took six tries and five minutes to post this.

you might be able to find a couple of those programs. but most DVDs and CDs have a certain program embeded into its code that will not allow you to copy them to your computer or to another device. since i don't have a video ipod and i usually don't watch DVDs on my computer i don't know if what i just stated is true or not. but DVDs and CDs do have programs that will not allow you to copy them to a computer or another device.
