NVIDIA OpenGL Driver NVIDIA display driver files from different (incompatible) versions of the driver have been detected.

NVIDIA OpenGL acceleration is disabled in order to maintain system stability.

To resolve this problem, update the NVIDIA display driver. The latest display is available at Welcome to NVIDIA - Graphics Cards, Motherboards, Notebooks, Desktop PCs.

Basically this thing is happening when I try to play a game and everytime I try to find a driver at the site, I install it and it changes my resolution to the lowest possible setting and doesn't change a thing. My video card is an NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GT. If anyone at all could please help me, I'd be extremely grateful. Really appreciate it.

It sounds silly, did you restart the system after updating the drivers? They reset the display to uninstall the ones being used. You must restart to use the new drivers.

Yeah multiple times with different driver downloads.

Okay,

Try this. Uninstall your drivers completely. Use the ones that are provided with windows, then download this program and follow the following directions;

* Use Add/Remove Programs to uninstall your nVidia display drivers. * Reboot * Start Detonator R.I.P. and press ‘Remove Remains’ button. This will remove the stray information from the Windows registry and your hard disk * Additionally, it would be good, if now, you set your display as Sstandard VGA and reboot. To do this: Right click Desktop, choose Properties and click on the Settings tab. Click the Advanced Properties button and find the Adapter tab. In there, click the Change button and at the bottom, click the Show All Devices bubble. In the left window, scroll up to the top and choose Standard Display Types. In the right window, choose Standard Display Adapter (VGA). Click OK. * After reboot, you should be able to install your new Detonator drivers.

I hope this helps.
