Whats the temperature on that? I think maybe youve overclocked it too high.

All I can say is to clock it back to stock speeds. This probably isn't the problem though. Download the lite version of SiSoft Sandra here and run a few benchmarks. And I don't think a 2800+ would cause any bottlenecks. If all that doesn't work try rolling back your video card drivers.

it could be overheating, but it also could be your RAM, which is mixed. Mixing RAM like that is never exactly the best thing to do, and also, should i say that you cannot have dual channel with mixed sticks like that.

Overclocked wath too high my 6800GT? the temp is 63 and CPU temp is 43...roling back drivers i already tried i will test the bencmarks..ah yes and anyway my 3dmark score is good 3dmark03:12000 and 3dmark05:5213 so nothing wrong with that i think.

Ok i did a benchmark with Sisoft the compare 'CPU Arithimetic benchmark' this was the result: Drystone ALU:9016MIPS Wetstone FPU:3501 MFLOPS if you need more info gimme to that...and yes i wont think mixed ram will decrease my FPS drasticly isnt't? but ok...more info pls:)

It's not overclocked too high... your temps are fine for a 6800GT. I'd say your bottlenecking. Your RAM is only PC2700 which isnt too good in itself, and ontop of that it's mixed, which means its not running in dual-channel. Your process or is clocked pretty high for a 2800+, but the fact that its not a s754 or s939, and that its not an Athlon 64 is a problem. How about 3Dmark05 scores?
