It does look like the fastest 7800GT on the market, but it costs more than a 7800GTX (which, by the way, it doesn't compete with).

this card is £258 inc vat, and the cheapest 7800gtx (256mb) is £286 inc vat. You forget the 512mb of ram?

Dude, so what about 512MB memory;

No game can utilise and fill that much memory.

It's pointless.....larger amounts of memory is used for programs like 3dsmax.

The cheapest 7800GTX is £286, or the cheapest 512MB 7800GTX is £286? If you are referring to the 512MB 7800GTX, that is irrelevant because the 256MB 7800GTX would still outperform the card you linked to.

If £ is GBP, then you can get a 7800GTX for £222.

well, it's cheaper than the 256mb 7800GTX... it has 512mb of memory that's factory overclocked to 1.3ghz.. or would u be better off getting a 256mb 7800GT core factory OC?
