Μαjïç MushrøøMCertain ISP's do offer protection service against such sites (as well as hardware to filter them out), but my suggestion is to simply avoid those sites and otherwise take the utmost precaution in your leisurely browsing activity.
yeah...It would help if I'm doing a google serch and some of that crap comes up when i don't want it... I may get a router if i get my own comp with the internet...Or i can use 2 DSL modems(hopefully) Now if i get one of these...would they block sites like GF and file front? Since they contain vulglar stuff?
No matter what program you end up using, it will not block all porn sites. All of these programs out there look for a specific certificate to identify the type of content in the website. Not all porn sites have or use these certificates. I use Norton internet security tho which has settings for administrator, adult teenager, and child. Im not quite sure the difference between each user category ill have to read the manual, and Im not entirely sure it does what your looking for But i think it does.
^^ Word. I'd try to see what's wrong with your parents that they don't have enough faith in themselves to raise you correctly. But whatever. Do they hold your hand crossing the street, too, and make sure you don't wander into Hot Topic at the mall? Sorry, rant mode off. Any 'Safety filter' will work about the same as any other. Most of them only worry about port 80 access, and essentially run as a proxy server IIRC. You shouldn't see any ill effects with games, etc. from any of them.

lol...My mom is the one who goes in there:lol:. Well hopefully I can find one that works and then I'm on my way to get my own comp with the internet. Thx for helping...now how much would notron security center run?

Firstly, there are many, many programs that do that. Off the top of my head, there's NetNanny, AOL (I highly recommend never going near that one - it's AOL) and Safesurf.
Most are easily hacked anyway, but you can make it easy and get a P2P program to download porn (of course, you would never want to, though).
Of course not ;) That's where the best porn is. The free stuff on the web is just the teaser crap. People put the good stuff on P2P
