I have a standard 2003 dell. It runs pretty good since almost every thing i put on it it can handle well with some updates. Now the problem is it only runs the chips at half what they can do and has bad tendancy to do only 60% of what ram could do. Now i am a little finiancially declined, so i was wondering this:

Should i buy a whole new harddrive or gaming cpu? I am finincially low, so i was wondering if a new harddrive could make a game fps, ram, and chip performances go up. I have 1gb and 512mb ram sticks in my comp. My harddrive is probably most the problem because i only have like 35gb, and have onely about 9.5 gb with bf2 on with fh1.. If i get a new hard drive and have it installed, it should run pretty good(most of the slowness comes with bf2)(its not bad, but not smooth ewnough in loading or some game play)(i have a good card, too). If i got likea 100gb hard drive, maybe that would suup(soup) it up a lot. I mean that would give me a lot of space, i would have over2gb of ram that i installed and a ati radeon x1600 series. A new cpu would mean a lot of good things/ My computer could run smotther and all the same, maybe better. But i am finiancally declined and i think in the end, the hard rive would be just as worth it. But it would run smoother. The hard drive i belief would be prety decent. What do you guys think i should do? (im taking into consideration speed, smooth running, and high quality FH2/bf2 playing.)

What do you mean by it's only running at half of the processor and 60% of the RAM?
