Well the official version of Firefox 3 will be available to download sometime today.

Features and fixes for Firefox 3 include:

* Updated address bar with integrated bookmarking functionality * Standard themes that are consistent with the native UI of your Operating System (Windows, Mac, Linux) * Revamped bookmark manager * New Icons * One-click site information * Secure add-on updates * Vista Parental Controls * Revamped password management * Full page zoom * Scrolling Tabs * One-click bookmarking * Tags for bookmarks * tons more!

As soon as it is available to download the amount of downloads will be monitored. Firefox is trying to set a new world record of the most software downloads in 24 hours and to be involved in this all you need to do is download Firefox 3 today: 17th June which is known as "Download Day". (Full Download not an Update).

Will people here be downloading this latest version of Firefox?

This one isn't all that bad only had one crash(Actually more like a lost connection) so far cause I was multi-tasking with like 7-8 tabs open plus MSN messenger plus had a couple of scans going all on a crap computer that sucks real bad so I thing that the beta is actually good It's a little better and looks more like Vista (I think; I currently use XP so...) I like it plus they built in better stuff so I acutally like the beta. I know they added a virus scanner to the download list so I don't know how effiecent it is soo. Plus everything else that Tanith said! I like it

The time of when this official version has been announced for all country's. Can see the times here: The Fixed Time World Clock

I think that at the very least its worth a try. It has a lot of new features over Firefox 2 and apparently its faster and takes up less memory.

Meh, i've used RC2 a good bit, and while it looks nice, its not a huge improvement IMO.

I'm sticking with Opera. Opera has completely won me over with 9.50 at the moment.
