This morning i tried downloading the new firefox, 1.06 and it installed fine. I try to start firefox up right after it and it wont respond, no website will work with it.

I tried multiple times uninstalling firefox then redownloading it but everytime the same problem occurs.

Another thing, ever since i downloaded 1.06 call of duty will not show any servers and teamspeak will not connect.

Other things like internet explorer, AIM and xfire will work fine so it is not a whole internet problem.

If anyone else has downloaded the new firefox or knows what i can do i would appreciate it.

I have a clan match for call of duty today and its important i get my PC to work, even more so with CoD and firefox. thanks.

it must be a program firewall issue, i downloaded 1.06 yesterday and it worked fine, the only thing that was wrong at first was it didn't work the first time, but it did the second time.

Yeah guys, I have zone alarm and right before i started it gave me the "allow program" and i clicked yes and remember settings but i guess some error in zone alarm occured.

I shut down zone alarm and brought up Sygate firewall, IT WORKS!

I am so happy, i just want to jump up and down *jumps up and down*

Thanks for the help :D

Heretic! But yeah whenever i have issues with programs that work with internet acces (FF, MSN, a game etc.) i first shut down my firewall to see if that is the one causing the issues, most of the times it is :p .

It turned out not to be my precious firefox :D

Sygate was running even though i unchecked it in msconfig, I had to disable its service as well

So what Firewall are you using now? Zone Alarm again, or just the XP Firewall?
