Ok new problem... i cant hear anything. When i start up fear it says im missing my sound drivers. How do i fix that? :bawl:

go to the website of your motherboard maker and search for the drivers, download and install them, what make and model mobo is it?

AVG is a good antivirus, also i hear that Avast is another good one tho i have not tried it myself

that is the problem i dont know what my mobo is cause it was a dell pre assembled. Anyway i can figure that out? The only thing i know is that its intel and supports ddr2 ram

do you know the Dell model? it maybe a custom mobo, but standard drivers may work on it

ok i figured it out. it has the intel 915G express chipset mobo. Where do i go to get drivers>?

you need to know what the sound card is, it maybe an onboard ie built into the motherboard or one in a pci slot. then go to somewhere like driver-downloads.com at get them

ok go to http://www.drivershq.com/ and download, install and run driver detective it will list what hardware you have, then you know what driver to get for it
