Well, I was thinking since the Forum Warz is under way for most other forums to compete in I was thinking we could have our own overclocking competition here at FF. It would use the same rules and same format as the Forum Warz(although as an individual competition, instead of team based). If enough people are interested I can post all the rules and things of the sort if we get a few people for each class (you only compete against people in your own class). Heres a good idea of classes and to see what you have that might stack up against other peoples rigs.

That's a great idea, but better take the "FF" out of the name and put some very big disclaimer in there that it is an unofficial competition and that Filefront won't cover any damages if your overclocking causes a forest fire ;)
Change the thread name to overclocking competition then =)

I thought you can do that yourself now that the editing restrictions have been removed. But ok. I even left you one of the "f"s.

Nice, and great news: I just ordered the rest of my stuff, so it should be here in two days :D
"I'd shush her zephyr." ~ Zephyr.
That might actually be a good idea. So. *rubs hands together*. When do we start?
I would also add that it would be a good idea to provide a list of direct links to the software required for the competition. Especially with 3DMark, patches can produce different scores.
I was thinking monday as the first day. Then everyone would have two weeks to post results on stock speeds. After that two-week period everyone would have a day to rest/ make sure scores were inputted correctly, then 3-weeks to go to war and try to get their max scores.
First post updated with benchmarks link, etc.
Sounds like fun! Count me in.
I'll also make an official scores thread. If an admin could sticky this and the scores thread it would be much appreciated.
Okay, both threads stickied.
