Hi where could you get free websites from, where you could put your oun stuff on and where you dont have to pay monthly bill etc. Is there any such things?? :)
I use a few different ones. http://www.freewebs.com is pretty good, but for free you must only have a limit of seven pages. I'm not sure if they do the ftp thing with your own html's but I think they do. Also http://www.tripod.lycos.com is rather good for site making. Their templates are a little more plain, but there is no limit to your pages, so long as you stay within the size. That site I know does the ftp server thing for custom htmls. Also http://www.100webspace.com has an ftp server thingy. I havn't used either http://geocities.yahoo.com/home/index.html or http://www.angelfire.lycos.com/ so I don't know if they're any good or not. The only sites I've built are on freewebs and tripod (www.steakboy.tk http://steakboy0.tripod.com/ and http://steakboy0.tripod.com/nemesisproject/ none of which I ever completed, so if it's something like those you want to build than use that respective site) and I used the default templates instead of my own html, so if that's what you're after I would probably go with tripod or one of those.
