On my motherboard there is a jumper switch to switch between 200MHz FSB or 400. i was wondering which one to have it on? it is currently on 200. Would my computer be faster if i were to switch it to 400?

jumper based fsb clock settings...very interesting. what motherboard do you have? and also, i wouldnt try switching the jumper around until you know a bit more about the mobo.

It would technically be faster but chances are that it wouldn't boot. Faster, but unusable. Jumper based clock settings aren't that rare, but they aren't very flexible.
