Ok, I have a odd problem here, i just tryed to reinstall a game that i had uninstalled a little while ago, but when the setup program starts i get this error message: "Game Installation Already Detected, Please Uninstall Before Running Setup" I checked in the add/remove programs in the control panel, that says that it's not installed on my computer, I also ran a full file search for any of the games files, searching in all folders, still found nothing, there are none of the games files on my computer, yet the games setup programs is telling me it's already installed???? it even gives me the option of playing the game, or uninstalling, i clicked both, but they do nothing, as soon as i click them the setup screen exits back to windows??? Anybody know how to fix this? Any suggestions would help.
Go to google and search 'Add/Remove for good' or a variant of it.
Sometimes registry entries stays behind after an uninstall. If this is the case a freeware registry cleanup program could help you out. www.download.com
This is a question about unistall. i cant unistall some programs. I removed their files manually.
When you manually remove software there is a huge chance ofleaving junk files behind. Temporary install files etc will not be in the same folder as the installed program.
Hey thanks guys, i got it working, have a few  on me!!
