Quadro cards are designed for workstation class rendering - 3DSMax, CAD, that kind of thing. They're not built for gaming, so don't expect them to excel at it.

That being said, I wouldn't imagine performance would be all that terrible.

Im actually a 2nd year architecture student next year so i need to run CAD and other programs on a laptop thier making us buy.

The quadro wouldnt work for gamig as well?

Not really. Simple fact is that a FX5200 is rubbish for gaming, whether it's sold as a GeForce or a Quadro. I don't expect you'll be doing anything on your course that actually needs a Quadro.

Well this is the next gpu(s) down in price so I think ill go for this one. Dual nVidia 7950 GTX 512MB

Ive been looking at that crazy XPSm2010 and i was wondering if anyone has got a hold of it. Is it any good?

If you have opinions on it but dont have it, you should tell me them.
