Hi There, Thinking about buying a gaming laptop but not really sure where to start. I have a rough idea how well a pc will perform by knowing its specs but im not sure with laptops. I have noticed that most graphics card manufactures make laptop graphics cards but I dont how well they tend to work with laptops etc. I think most demanidng game I would play would COD4 at full screen res and high settings. I have seen a laptop that is resonably priced(£780) and seems ok specs are: Sony VGN-FW21E, Intel Core 2 Duo Processor P8400 (2.1 GHz, 1066 MHz, 3MB Cache 4GB Memory ATi Mobility Radeon HD3470 Graphics card 16.4" X Black LCD Screen with web cam (dont know screen res) I dont know much about the graphics card on this, so any advice or information would be appreciated. Thanks in advance:confused:

That's a pretty good spec, but if you hunt around you can find much, much cheaper offers. Just the other week I got a new Acer Aspire 6920 (2GHz Core 2 Duo, 4gb RAM, GeForce 9500) for just £450.

Also, might be worth taking a look at the Dell factory outlet. They usually have quite a few decent XPS laptops in stock for ridiculously low prices.
