hey there guys. just wondering if anyones can help me? iv got a dell pc 2.8g p4 pc but i seem to be having problems running simple games nicely? like i just got virtual pool 3, not exactly a new game but about 3 mins into the game it starts to go really "framey', and its horrible to play so slow and unreactivly, surely my pc should be able to handle these games. could there be another problem? many thanks

this should be in Tech what are your exact system specs? I dont know how demanding Virtual Pool is, but its probably not very demanding. you could possibly have integrated graphics, which might be a problem. :clueless:

ok, now this will sound dumb but are the graphics very good, do they look realisitc because if they do then it could be because your system doesnt have a graphics card and therefore cannot handle the game. On the other hand it could be because you have other things running like erm, microsoft word or anything, if you do then close them hope this helps ;)

Go to: Control panel>system>Hardware>device manager. Tell us what it says under "Display adapter". But now i'm thinking its Spyware/Adware because your whole computer is slow. Do an adaware/spybot check. @JP: I prefer Everest, but that works ok.
