Since my other computer is completely trashed and no one will help me fix it, I am going to get a new computer. I'm mainly interested in gaming and I need to stay as close to $1000 as possible. I customized a computer at www.cyberpowersystem.com and I am wondering if it willl last me a while. Here are the specs: Case -X-BLADE Mid-Tower 450W W/ WINDOW & LCD Temperature Display + FAN CONTROL Power Supply -STANDARD CASE POWER SUPPLY CPU -(754-pin) AMD ATHLON64 2800+ Processor (Is this 2.8 GHz?) Motherboard -(754-pin Socket) Albatron K8X800 PRO VIA K8T800 Chipset AGP8X w/LAN,USB2,&Audio Memory -512 MB PC3200 400MHz DDR MEMORY -Standard Major Brand Hard Drive 1 -160GB 7200 RPM ATA 100 HARD DRIVE Hard Drive 2 None Video Card -ATI RADEON 9800XT 256MB DDR AGP 8X W/ TV-OUT & DVI DVD-Rom None CD-Rewriter / DVD-Rewriter -ARTEC CD-RW 52X32X52 (This is the one for where game and program disks go right?) Monitor -(SILVER/BLACK) ViewSonic® 17" E70F+SB .21MM Horizontal Dot Pitch SVGA MONITOR Sound Card -3D WAVE ON-BOARD 5.1 SOUND CARD Flash Media Reader/Writer -INTERNAL 6in1 Flash Media Reader/Writer Cooling Fan -AMD ATHLON64 CERTIFIED CPU FAN & HEATSINK Modem None (Do I need one?) Floppy None (I'll probably use my old one) Zip None Network -ONBOARD 10/100 NETWORK CARD Rounded Cable none (Do I need them?) Well, that's it. Please tell me if I need something else, or if something is not compatible with something else, or if it will be fine for gaming.

I'm not sure but I think that processor runs at 1.8 Ghz And you don't need those rounded cables but if you have a window it looks nicer..

Rounded cables give better airflow. But considering that you ask us "Is this good" it's prolly better if you dont OC anyway....

Yeah that thing looks awesome. Do you think the cmputer will be fine for gaming and last me a few more years with only a few upgrades ata a time? I had another question in one of my previous posts about processors, could someone please answer that?
