masterstevenx4What is an average (good) CPU temp when idle? Mine is running at 54 C and I'm not really sure if thats hot or ok....

Thats normal. Average. Mine runs from 54-59c.

When I play games its going up to 68C..... I'm guessing thats really hot and not good. I'm thinking of buying this Heatsink http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835106042 Any suggestions? Oh BTW my CPU is a AMD64 X2 3800+ and im in Florida.....

That is very hot. I live in South florida and my overclocked Venice doesn't hit about 45C. Check your fans.

Well, my 3700+ idles at around 36 degrees C right about now. I hail from Cornwall, UK, which is normally cold and rainy, but recently we've had a real heatwave. I'm still thinking of squeezing some extra cooling in, perhaps a Zalman CPU blower. That'll come after the 2gb RAM upgrade I'm getting for my birthday, though. :p

well my Gpu is 60C but my cpu is mmh i dont know.. What was that program or stuff that you guys use for seeying it?

ive downloaded it and wow large program for only 5 mb. It gives all the info but im gonna remove it but where can i see my info of temperatures?
