I was considering buying a new keyboard tomorrow and I was wondering if this one is any good? Its £19.99 which seems a lot just for a keyboard but if anyone here has it or can recommend a good or better one for the same price or less it would be much appreciated.

Personally I am of the opinion that all the keyboards produced now are the same, which is summed up with a single word.

Rubbish.

There is a good article on the good old fashioned IBM keyboard here:-

http://www.dansdata.com/ibmkeyboard.htm

After using one of those keyboards your not going to willingly swap it for anything and its going to outlast your computer, and probably you. I am still using an original that came with an IBM PC goodness knows how many years ago, the sticker on the bottom says 1991 and it sounds about right.

I want one, now. I have gone though 3 keyboards in as many years. Before that I had an HP keyboard made in 1997 that lasted me 6 years. That keyboard you posted is right in my price range, and if lasts 1/2 as long as they say I will be impressed.

The keyboard I have is 8 years old and the buttons are becoming unresponsive so I think a new keyboard is in order.

I don't know why you brought up that IBM link. The IBM's kill your wrists(which tends to happen with junk keyboards as those ) I didn't notice that clicky on the bottom of your post SPDU but I think that keyboards will be sufficient. Logitech, in my opinion is one of the better makes for keyboards and mouses.

I have that keyboard - had it for... I don't remember how long, now. Thus far it has not failed me at all; great keyboard and well worth every penny. :)
