I use some (not anywhere near all) of the programmable keys. I have them set for passwords/account names/email on one set. The LCD screen has many mods for it. Here's some of them (http://www.g15mods.com/mods.html) If you have a seperate computer for media, then you wouln't really use the media display feature. I like it, I use the media controls all the time (volume control is really useful for how I have my audio setup) The backlighting make for great usage at LAN parties, so if they have the lights off (the only way a LAN should be), you can at least see where you're putting your fingers. Sure, maybe 54 programmable keys (for each game) is a bit much, but it's nice to know you have the capability :P

I have heard a lot about features, but what about the keyboard being comfortable, I know that the only way I would buy a new keyboard was if it was confortable, my current one has padding that lowers the chance of cramps, do any of the suggested keyboards have anything like that?

I finally got the keyboard and I have to say it's really good. The software that came with it is easy to use and allows you to program some of the buttons. Altogether a great buy. :)
