I have a NVIDA GeForce Fx 5200 since I bought my computer 2 or 3 years ago. I have never updated it but have just been on the NVIDIA site and it says theres an update. Should I get this update as I am unsure what it will do to my graphics card and how it all works I would really appreciate your help. Thanks
Yes of course you should update. Thats probably the 30th driver upgrade available since you bought your pc, but better late than never  It might increase the performance of your card in some newer games, and might fix issues in others. Don't expect your 5200 to become a good card because you updated the drivers, but you should anyways.
Yeah, like he said it's a good idea to keep your drivers up to date to but because it's such an old card it won't make much difference anyway. So it's up to you, but for the 5 minutes it'll take, you may as well.
Yeah, you should update your drivers on a regular basis. I update mine whenever a new official version is released (i've had bad luck with beta drivers and the like).
It won't make your FX 5200 any faster though, it will just help with overall stability and fix small issues like Komrad said.
Lol, bro, we have the same Card, which is acuatly a bad thing for both of us :uhm:
And yeah, im no techy, but its obvious that you should download the update
