Thermalright SI-120 is a great heatsink. Kinda big, though.
i hear you all talking about overclocking, but i can't fic=gure out how to do that some help would be much appreciated
It's quite an involved process, there are many articles to be found on google, all of them (probably) far more detailed than anyone else will be bothered to type out.
True, or you could jst visit the OC union in one gaming website, they have an awesome guide there, if you know what GS stands for then yeah. If you dont then cant help you much. Also what proc do you have? Intel or AMD? If you have AMD its pretty easy. Just drop down the HTT to 4x Then find the clock frequency setting (fsb i thik) and increace is by say 10 Test the stability with say 3dmark or a CPU intensive task or game. If all works increace it again by 10. If youre happy about the speed test Prime 95 torture test for about 10hours for cpu stability.
if its an intel, there is a lock on all of the newer ones that only asus and I think abit motherboards have disabled, with amd it will work with the programs that come with your motherboard
Programs are naff, use the BIOS regardless of what it is.
