For a single GTX 275, your 500W should handle it, assuming you aren't also running a high TDP quad core.
I'm running the 720BE Phenom II(NO OC) and 2 hdd Sata also DDR2 ram and some case fans. BTW this is the GTX 275 i would get but it say in power req i need a 550watt psu i only have 500watt
I say none of the above.
Get yourself a 4890 instead.
Whats the PSU Requirement and in ever game but crysis wars i saw the GTX 275 beat the 4890!

FileFront is apparently the official ATi fan forum, didn't you know. =p
You will find that the majority of users here will recommend ATi over a more powerful nVidia card because of lower price. If I were you, I would go for the 275, and if your PSU turns out to not be enough, sell it and get a more powerful one, 650 to 750W or so.
I recommend the 4890 because it will give you the same performance as the 275 while using less power under load. And yes, it is also slightly cheaper. They are also extremely good overclockers. Your 500W should be ok for those, i ran a 9800GTX OCed @ 820Mhz on a Seasonic 500W with no trouble at all.
At this point though you might want to hang on to that 9800GT a little longer as the Radeon 5000 is going to be rolling out soon.
ok i'll think about it.
