One again the comp wants to bug out on me. I get an error message everytime i go into my D Drive. All my other drives work fine..but it's just that one. I ran a virus and spyware scan and nothing came up. Any suggestions?

AppName: explorer.exe AppVer: 6.0.2900.2180 ModName: mplvw7.dll ModVer: 1.0.0.3 Offset: 0001c33a

Thats the error details i get.

Its not to do with your drive. Its explorer, so the only thing I can really think of is a corrupted windows magiger or something. You probably have to reformat and reinstall windows, which sucks.

hmm. try searching for the file mplvw7.dll if you find it, try googling it and downloading a replacement. if you dont find it, download it and find some directions for installing it (usually just takes throwing it into the windows folder, but i'd double check to be safe)

google it. googling will definitely find you the proper one, the problem is somewhat widespread.

That could work. Of course, I speak for many people on this forum, we have all had missing files. It is quite annoying, but what you are asking could very well work. Please respond if it doesn't.

is the drive an HD or a cd drive, if its a cd drive the disk may have trouble mounting , make sure the cd is siting in the tray properly. you may also consider using a lens cleaning disk
