I read the reviews but wanted to know if anybody here has used them, were they worth the money?

I've never used that particular one, but it does have good reviews, and it looks like a solid headset. I mean unless you're gonna get mad in games and start slamming them on the ground they should be fine :)

What are you planning on using a headset for?

If they are "worth the money" as you put it, they wouldn't be very good, as $15 is dirt cheap. You're basically talking a $5 mic and $10 set of headphones. You just can't build in very good sound at those prices.

I would suggest getting the Gamecom 377, a bit more expensive, but are very comfortable, have amazing sound quality and if your just using the headphones, the mic can be cleverly hidden into the top of the headset. Plus, they look cool :p

PS: I have a pair so I'm not just saying their good for shits and gigs

Those look freaking AWESOME, but I can't afford that :'( I'm limited to 30 or 35 dollars. My bro is paying me ten 10 bucks so he can have my old ones, still in good shape, but I hate them. So I have a tad bit of leway.

So what exactly is your max budget then, $10 on top of $35, meaning $45?

Here's the same thing Babeman suggested for $10 less in a closed ear design, which is actually more immersive. Problem is it would really only be $1.71 cheaper because there's no free shipping on these.:(

You might even be able to hear voice chat better, as open ear designs can make it hard to hear what someone is saying depending on how they speak, esp if you have a lot of exterior noises going on. Newegg.com - PLANTRONICS GameCom 367 Closed-ear 3.5mm Circumaural Stereo Headset
