Its still not bad for a intergrated video. one day will have intergrated cards that run like GTX 580's.

Yeah, when we're on gtx 4758347832849730200 At least for intel.

AMD looks to be dropping some awesome chips in the next year or so.

If by "not bad" you mean it will run 5 year old games at low graphics, sure. You can buy 50$ PCI-E card that outstrips even the best integrated ones. Do eet!

It's somewhere round about HD 5450-type performance. For the full-sized version.

The 3000HD is about the same as a 9400GT, probably a little less.

Eventually, maybe, just maybe, Intel might have integrated graphics to rival the 580, but by then they're still going to be just as piss poor in comparison to dedicated graphics as they are now. Hell, by then we might all be rocking VR gaming or something, who knows?

I am interested to see AMD's graphics chips though, from what I've been reading they sound very cool.

Which AMD graphics chips are you referring to? You mean like how newer AMD boards can use their onboard ships in CrossfireX with a dedicated card?

They've been improving, though. AMD and their Fusion is forcing Intel to up their games in terms of IGPs.

I know that but where does it stand comparing to a video card in 2003-04ish?
