Ok had a wierd one today. I have a Dell Precision 330 workstation that I use in the office. I have on it 2 80gig HDD. Yesterday I decided to upgrade to the lates Quicktime for windows and it corrupted my Win 2000 prof. So I tried to do a repair and that did not work. So then I had to reload windows from scratch. Now the computer is running good again except I went to the slave drive to pull over files I had backed up and the computer does not see them. (edit- By this I mean it does not see the second Hdd) Anyone have any ideas on why and how do I fix this?

Possible stupid suggestion, but do you see the drive in the device manager screen?

If you go to the Disk Management screen in 'Administrative Tools' is the 2nd drive listed?

If so, is it formatted?

Ok just an update on this one. In short I am a freaking idiot!!! I discovered that when I had to reload the operating software I deleated the partitions on both my main drive and the slave drive. So in effect I screwed it up! I lost all my data but was able to reformat the slave and it is running again. Thank GOD I have a 200Gig USB drive and had recently backed up my slave!!!
