help.. my pc was playin up, with spyware and other stuff so i decided to reboot the whole machine.. so i restarted the pc and pressed F8 to select boot device.. i accidently selected one called realtek boot agent (network) and then this screen came up that looked like bios, and nothing was happening except a few dots going across the bottom leftof my screen.. very slowly. so then i pressed escape and then the windows loading screen came up (the one with the bars going along in the little box) and then the computer restarted. and then before the windows screen came up it asked me if i wanted to start windows normally or safe mode ect... ive tried every option but the same thing keeps happening... (computer restarts after windows loading screen finishes)
what can i do... i have the red reboot floppy disc.. but now i remember that i have important photos of holiday and work which i need to keep...
i really need help on this one... any help appreciated .. thanx
Restart comp and hit the 'del' key to get yourself into BIOS (desktop right?)
From the BIOS menu, do a F9 then F10. This will load your BIOS settings to default and also save and exit. Your comp will then reboot and should load normally.
or you can do a full system recover..........but do what gizmo said.
If that doesn't fix it... Can't you just take the hard drive out and put it into another computer(switching it from master to slave of course...) as an extra drive? Or would that make the computer its now in a duel boot system? I've never tried something like that, so i'm not sure how it would act.

That is NIC, a network boot feature which allows you to install an OS using a .iso image of the install CD on a server rather than using the CD itself.
Do as Gizmo posted. If that doesnt work, let us know.
Thanx guys for all your help.:) ive tried all your suggestions and none of them worked.. so i just put the red floppy in and recoverd the whole machine..:D i lost the photos, but ive got most of them on a disc.. only recent ones i lost. thanx alot anyway..:) -anderson-
damn I'm too late, you could have gone into dos and backup the pictures through dos, but that's to late now and I think it was your nic bootup device (used to boot from networks or to install from networks) never used it so I dont know how it should have been disabled, pulling out the nic might have helped as well, maybe something for when it goes wrong again ;)
Usually when it try's to boot of a NIC it's onboard. you can simply disable to in startup but he already has it disable. He accessed it by keystroke. If he would have put the hard drive in another computer as slave it would have booted just fine, and he would have been able to pull off all of his important files. doh!
