HELP!! Windows can't detect my new sound card 4 replies

I recently put in and SB Audigy into my computer and connect some new speakers to it and Windows can't detect it. I've already got the drivers and when they install, it just say "can't find your card." The card was in another computer and it worked fine. And yes I plugged that little cable into the CD drive.

is it installed right? Try putting it in a different pci slot and see if it works

Go to Start/Control Panel/Add new hardware/ Go throught the steps and install your drivers. After all done, it may take a re-boot to get the sound to work.

Done, that and it doesn't work. I think I need the CD to install which I don't have.
