Picture Editor is easiest, Photoshop 7, thought it is still pricy. For animations I use Macromedia Flash. For 3D pictures I use Bryce 5, but I am unsure if you can do animations with that, I will have to go check...

Heh. I automatically read pricy as piracy. I'm so used to seeing Photoshop and piracy together :p

"Picture Editing/Making" Adobe Creative Suite. If you wanna go free (Beer and freedom), I suggest the GIMP.

What does "Video Recorder" mean? You mean capturing in-game video? Just use FRAPs....I cant think of a comercial alternative, actually....

For "Video Editor" use protools or a combonation of Adobe Premiere Pro and Afterglow

"Animator" .....I like maya.....

Fraps is horrible, not even sound. Simply hooking a VCR or something up to your computer gives you A LOT better quality for ingame footage.

I love FRAPS for in-game recording. I used it when I was a member of AA:TV (America's Army TV). It does have sound recording..... *Edit* You can go to the FRAPS website and download a free demo of the software to try it out for yourself.

Are you sure? I have always heard people saying that its lack of sound recording was its worse fault. Must be thinking of something else then...

I used FRAPS for several months, and it had audio. Also, the main page on their website says it has audio recording. Maybe an old version did not...
