websiteThe source estimated 80 percent of Microsoft employees have a music player -- that translates to 16,000 iPod users among the 25,000 who work at or near Microsoft's corporate campus.

I was under the impression that 80% of 25,000 was 20,000 but meh...

I'm actually a little ashamed of this... I'm a fan of Apple Computer inc., and that is not something to I like.

Legend has it,... Bill Gates was an Apple employee, he noticed how much money "HE" could make off an OS with a GUI. So somehow crippled Apple (probably by adding bugs to the code :D ), and jumped ship. While Apple was still trying to regain its momentum, Bill Gates was developing M$ Windows. He then sold it, using IBM DOS for the core coding. He was selling a Skin for DOS, and DOS without IBM's permission. This went on untill Windows Me, and even now they say, that WindowsXP is a DOS based operating system.

So Bill Gates is a thief, he stole from Apple, then stole from IBM. Then He sold Windows 95, then Windows 98, then Windows Me, all based on DOS, and poorly designed. Now WindowsXP turns out to be the least secure OS ever known.

Nice bit of urban legend ;)

As it stands, M$ got their start by bundling a Basic interpreter with SC-DOS (QDOS), as Seattle Computer had an OS but no application software. The Big Coup was when Gates sold IBM on the package before be owned it (Gates wound up buying it for a song and SC eventually went out of business). This was all in the very early '80s, when the 8088 was the dominant PC microprocessor. Most of Win95 was "lifted" from other development centres: Xerox, HP, Apple, Sun and more.
