Get a firewall, makes you a bit more secure than simply changing your IP.

That doesn't sound like an IP hack, and even if it is the hacker will probably be able to obtain your IP adress again right after you change it through whatever means he used to get it in the first place. It's more likely spyware or a virus. Like the Ensign said, get a firewall and an anti-virus program (like AVG Free edition... free, as the name would indicate), and set up the firewall and run a scan.

If you want to change your IP, you can do two things: 1) start using proxy, or 2) contact your ISP for a new account or the possibility of changing your IP otherwise. Just remember that proxies are often rather slow and that some ISPs lack 'customer-service.'

Listen to what he said. There is no "good ip changer". First, what is your ISP (internet service provider)?. If it is a really common one, they will probably have Customer Service to which you can explain your problem. Second, configure your firewall to stop crap more effectively, or get a new one.

If you use a wireless network, than I believe your router already acts like a proxy server... am I wrong about this?
