Are you talking about UDP and TCP ports? (internet) There are lots of ports that do lots of different things. You will have to be more specific.

If you're looking for the local IP address (if you're trying to set up port forwarding or something like that for gaming), go into console (type "cmd" in XP/2k, "command" in 95/98/ME into the Run box) and type "ipconfig".

Services, not computers, make use of ports. There is no such thing as a port "for" your computer.
