With the newest ATI drivers i cannot find where i can change the AGP settings, right now it is only on 1x speed and 4x speed is supported. So i don't know where to change that, plz help.
Reboot your computer and while it's booting, interupt it by pressing the DEL key. That will bring you into the BIOS, in there you will find where to set the AGP speed.
Ok, well i restarted my computer and went to my BIOS and went to Advanced Options. I saw that Primary Video Adapter was set on PCI. I have a ATI 9800 PRO AGP graphics card, so i changed it from PCI to AGP, is that what i should have done? Also I couldn't find an option that would let me change my AGP settings, can you tell me exactly where that is?
Yes, You did the right thing to set it to AGP
Go into the Display options then to Settings then Advanced.....I think thats what ur talkin about
yea i have it on 4x now and it was on 1x, and i can't tell a difference at all.
did u install chipset drivers before gpu?
Do you mean, if i had onboard graphics before, then yes.
