I'm not sure if this is 'Tech Help' but, hey, move it if it's in the wrong place.
Every now and then, a BSOD comes up with the usual message until...
"ur a coky noob you fukker. go fuk ya mam"
I'm presuming this is a fake BSOD ;)...
Is this a trojan... or a virus... or, WTF is it?
Are you in Colledge? Do you let your roommates/siblings use your computer? Do your roommates, friends, or siblings like to get on your nerves???
It could be a practical joke.
Most likely it is a Virus/Trojan app you picked up, by going someplace you shouldn't have...
Someplace you shouldn't have?
I don't look at porn, look up keygens or anything like that, if that's what you mean.
And I'm not in college, I'm only 13!
As well as this, it isn't my family because they have next to no computer knowledge. And no-one except for me goes on my PC. (I make sure of that... lol)
Panda Titanium doesn't pick any up...
If you need a free Anti-Virus, Trend Micro has a 90 day trial you can download as well that works great. http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/ I would suggest supplementing Ad Aware SE along with Spybot, one will usually miss something that the other picks up
I've already got the demo of Trend Micro and I've had S&d for a while...
Scans don't show any traces of problems...
Any other ideas?
again if i had to suggest Antivirus software it would be Avast or AVG also consider getting a something like Microsoft AntiSpyware or Ad-Aware a combitnation of thee programs or similar programs is bound to pick something up
Is this an actual BSOD or a Windows dialog box?
sounds more like spyware or something to me then a BSOD
by the way:
As the BSoD is often subject to jokes and gags, it was also "introduced" to other system platforms as part of screensavers. Microsoft has also included a reference to the BSoD as an Easter egg in the Internet Explorer browser (versions 4 through 6). Typing "about:mozilla" in the address bar will result in a blank blue page being displayed. However, this has been removed with Service Pack 2 but it can still be shown by typing "res://mshtml.dll/about.moz" instead. The command is the standard way to bring up The Book of Mozilla, another Easter egg on the Netscape/Mozilla family of browsers. Several online vendors sell blue T-shirts that re-create the BSoD, and BSoDs commonly appear in video games and webcomics. In the game 'Advance Wars:Dual Strike' there is a robot named Jugger, who sometimes says 'blue screen of death!'
i want a BSOD T-Shirt
