I'm surprised no flames on this one; Latino, it is a top of the line card that costs about the price of a expensive 'escort'.

I should hope it is a good card. How good? expensively good.

www.tomshardware.com if you want a review & comparision

I think we're aware of the technical reasons why :D

But that's as expensive a small hobo-designed house... isn't going to stop me getting one though :D

First, if you have something to add in quick succession to your previous post, it would be advisable to use the edit.gif button. Moderators prefer that. Secondly, yes, I do. It is called future proofing. While no games use it NOW, they will, and instead of moaning about your computer having troubles (as I usually end up doing, mine is already beginning to have some nasty lag problems and it's only a year and a half old), you can get it and play it straight away without problems. I always upgrade my computer in one big go, and get the most powerful equipment possible. In the long run I find it tends to be more cost effective than having frequent little upgrades, but I suppose it depends where you get your stuff from.

I'll never buy ATI, because of the driver problems friends of mine have consistently with a worryingly large number of games. Guess that's that then :p.
